Call for Abstracts
We invite researchers, academics, practitioners and industry professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at our upcoming conference.
Topics:
- Industrial Automation & Advanced Robotics Manufacturing – Innovation from smart automation to collaborative robotics and human robot interaction that will transform the industrial processes.
- Healthcare Robotics and Technology – Surgical Robotics, Medical Robotics, Assistive Robotics and Technology, Robotic Rehabilitation, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Bio-inspired and Biomimetic Robotics, Wearable Exoskeletons.
- Intelligent Mobility and Transport – The role of autonomous vehicles (AVs) in mobility and transport and the potential to transform the way people and goods move.
- Innovation & Future Technologies – Soft Robotics, Micro and Nanorobotics, Novel Sensors and Actuators, and Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS).
Accepted Submissions:
- Accepted abstracts will be presented as part of the conference workshops, providing presenters with an opportunity to engage with peers, receive feedback and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in robotics and automation in their respective field.
- Abstracts will be published on the NERIC website and selected abstracts will be invited for extension into full-length papers, to undergo peer-review for potential publication in a relevant academic journal. Authors will be provided with guidance following acceptance of their abstracts.
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts to be no longer than two sides of A4.
- Clearly state the research objective, methodology, results and significance of the study.
- Submissions must be written in English and adhere to academic standards.
- Submit your abstract via the online submission system.
Deadline for submissions is: Wednesday 1st May 2024.
